Charge Pipe to Throttle Body C-Clip | BMW N54 N55 S55 | OEM 17517798485

The C-clip is the small retaining clip that locks the charge pipe into the throttle body. It is easy to lose, easy to distort, and frequently snapped or dropped during a charge pipe install. Without it the joint relies on friction alone, and under boost the pipe can pop off entirely.

This is a direct replacement for that clip on N54, N55 and S55 engines, suiting both OEM and aftermarket charge pipes.

Tip: if you are replacing the C-clip, replace the throttle body O-ring at the same time. Both parts are usually disturbed in the same job, and a hardened O-ring is the other common cause of a leak at this joint.
